At the conclusion of our Children's service, Ms. Deborah Zukerman read a story.
Using toothpaste squeezed from a tube (and how it is impossible to get back in once it is out), Deb explained how we need to be careful with our words and actions.
Each year the Children's service is led by Michael Kupferberg and Carolyn Hoera. This year, more than thirty children eagerly helped with the next mitzvah....making decorations for our GCJC sukkah in the side yard!
Some of the very youngest visitors gathered in Ma. Margie Edelman's PreK/K room to play with materials. Thank you to the parents who helped entertain the little ones.
Decorating the sukkah is always the best part!
This guy had his own special decorations.
Everyone looking good in a photo....that never happens!
Ahhh! The paper chains come out!
Sweet family.
Another nice looking group!
Is it me, or do some of these kids look like models!?
Siblings got along nicely. Everyone was on their best behavior for Yom Kippur.
Many thanks to all the Moms and Dads who helped with sukkah decoration and crowd control!
Yet another nice family.
Wow! We have lots of young families in our Sunday school and Temple membership!
We know that this Children's service and the following sukkah decorating was the most highly attended that we can recall! Thanks again go to Cheryl Minsky, Mike Kupferberg, Margie Edelman, Peter Tittler, Deborah Zukerman, and Maggie Tittler for being our photographer!
Great job, everyone.
